Overview

Stunningly located on high ground looking out over the vastness of Kariba, this long established property was recently taken over by African Bush Camps and extensively renovated. The part-hotel-part-bush-camp feel is unique, and works surprisingly well, resulting in a lodge which is a delight to stay in.

With good access to Matusadona’s drives as well as boating on the river, game viewing here is excellent, with the usual high calibre of African Bush Camps’ guides. Evenings in the lodge yield breathtaking sunsets. Bumi Hills is unlike any other camp of lodge we have visited, and comes highly recommended.
