In what many would agree is Africa’s ultimate safari destination, we focus on the Okavango World Heritage Site and its adjacent areas. Botswana’s numerous parks and concessions can be confusing, so we split our offers into three broad areas.
At the heart of our activity sits the
Okavango Delta itself, including Moremi and Khwai. A huge interior delta system with constantly changing water levels reaching their peak during the floods of June-August, the Okavango offers stunning scenery and one of Africa’s most abundant and varied concentration of mammals and birds.
To the north and north east of the delta sit Kwando, Linyanti, Selinda and the renowned Chobe: we’ve bundled these under
North Woodlands & Waterways. Offering a number of superb accommodation options - including on private concessions - you have a wealth of viewing options via walks, drives, boats and even flights in this magical and constantly changing environment.
Lastly, to the south east and south of the delta sits the vast expanse of the
Kalahari - with the Madgadikgadi Pans and the seldom visited and massive Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR). In total contrast to the wetlands of the Okavango, these arid expanses offer solace for the soul, some of the most awe-inspiring desert scenery on Earth, and are a star-gazer’s paradise.
Botswana, on its own or paired with nearby Victoria Falls, offers the most magical of safaris.
