Overview

Sometimes overlooked due to its troubled past, Zimbabwe is often underrated as a safari destination. With some of the continent’s finest guides, Zimbabwe’s safari operators have maintained the highest standards.

Whether it’s the baobab encrusted splendour of Gonarezhou in the lowlands, the stunning vistas and sunsets of Matusadona on the shores of Kariba, the World Heritage magic of Mana Pools, the solace of the Matobo Hills, or the superb game viewing of Hwange, Zimbabwe has something for everyone; with camps ranging from mobile tented to rustic bush camps to luxurious hideaways.

Botswana
In perhaps Africa’s ultimate safari destination, we focus on the UNESCO World Heritage Okavango and adjacent areas. A huge interior delta system with constantly changing water levels reaching their peak during the floods of June-August; the Okavango offers stunning scenery and one of Africa’s most abundant, varied concentration of animals.

Our partner camps across Moremi, the exclusive Kwando-Linyanti reserves, Savuti and Chobe offer a wealth of viewing options via walks, drives, boats and even flights. Botswana, on its own or paired with nearby Victoria Falls offers the most magical of safaris.

Victoria Falls
"Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight," wrote Livingstone. Twice the height of Niagara, and four times as wide, the Victoria Falls is truly one of the natural wonders of the world.

Mosi Oa Tunya – the Smoke that Thunders – can be visited from the Zimbabwean or Zambian sides. Along with walking the Victoria Falls, a range of other activities including flights, rafting, bungy jumping, river cruises, game drives and vintage train rides are available. Visitors can be fully guided or wander on their own from our range of places to stay on both sides of the river.

Zambia
Zambia: a bird spotter’s paradise; it also offers some of Africa’s best reserves for mammals. Options include the renowned South Luangwa and its far less frequented neighbour, North Luangwa; the beautiful placidity of the Lower Zambezi on the shores of the mighty river; Kafue with its jewel - Busanga Plains - blessed with seasonal flooding and dotted with fig tree islands; and the unique and remote Liuwa – with its wildebeest migration.

With some of Africa’s best camps, Zambia offers a journey away from the madding crowds to places which are as seldom visited as they are breathtakingly beautiful.
