Quite possibly the world’s most exclusive, and most unique safari destination – the
Okavango has come to stand for the ultimate in safari. This huge inland delta is
speckled with islands – often formed from anthills – and, with seasonal
flooding, offers enormous contrasts through the year.
With an abundance of mammal
and bird life, the delta offers unparalleled game viewing – be that on foot, by boat, in
cars, or even by helicopter - and is home to some of Africa’s best loved camps. But
the Okavango can be expensive, and it can get busy – and with a view to that we
have selected some camps which offer time away from the bulk of vehicles.
