Overview

Set on the Weboro Lagoon, this family friendly camp lives and breathes on and around the water. Drives and walks are conducted, but some of the best game viewing is from the water, be that on makoros, speedboats, or a double decker mini-barge. Fishing is available, as are a range of other activities for both adults and younger visitors.

A variety of mammals and birds can be seen and, for the fortunate, the elusive, shy and Sitatunga might be spotted. The camp is designed with 3 family rooms on a separate island connected by a walk-way, complementing the 7 other rooms. A fly camping expedition can be arranged in advance, but is weather and season dependent.

This accessibly priced camp offers a wonderful contrast within a wider itinerary which might include some more land-based camps in drier or even arid areas.
