Overview

Botswana. Zambia. Zimbabwe. Three countries at the warm heart of Africa, offering abundant variety. Wetlands, woodlands, dry savanna, rivers or vast lakes – we cover a bewitching scope of habitats. Within each, our carefully selected accommodation ranges from mobile tented camps to luxurious lodges.

If it’s Botswana with its world renowned Okavango delta, Zambia with its under explored parks and riversides, Zimbabwe with its magical mix of world heritage sites and other parks, or the majestic Victoria Falls – which we treat as a separate ‘destination’ due to the way it straddles Zambia and Zimbabwe - welcome to our Africa.

In perhaps Africa’s ultimate safari destination, we focus on the UNESCO World Heritage Okavango and adjacent areas. A huge interior delta system with constantly changing water levels reaching their peak during the floods of June-August; the Okavango offers stunning scenery and one of Africa’s most abundant, varied concentration of animals.

Our partner camps across Moremi, the exclusive Kwando-Linyanti reserves, Savuti and Chobe offer a wealth of viewing options via walks, drives, boats and even flights. Botswana, on its own or paired with nearby Victoria Falls offers the most magical of safaris.

"Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight," wrote Livingstone. Twice the height of Niagara, and four times as wide, the Victoria Falls is truly one of the natural wonders of the world.

Mosi Oa Tunya – the Smoke that Thunders – can be visited from the Zimbabwean or Zambian sides. Along with walking the Victoria Falls, a range of other activities including flights, rafting, bungy jumping, river cruises, game drives and vintage train rides are available. Visitors can be fully guided or wander on their own from our range of places to stay on both sides of the river.

Zambia: a bird spotter’s paradise; it also offers some of Africa’s best reserves for mammals. Options include the renowned South Luangwa and its far less frequented neighbour, North Luangwa; the beautiful placidity of the Lower Zambezi on the shores of the mighty river; Kafue with its jewel - Busanga Plains - blessed with seasonal flooding and dotted with fig tree islands; and the unique and remote Liuwa – with its wildebeest migration.

With some of Africa’s best camps, Zambia offers a journey away from the madding crowds to places which are as seldom visited as they are breathtakingly beautiful.
