This beautiful park nestles between the mighty river and a backdrop of the escarpment mountains. Contiguous with Mana Pools in Zimbabwe, and part of the wider World Heritage site, Lower Zambezi offers a wealth of mammals and birds (over 360 species).
The influence of the river is ever-present, with plentiful hippo, crocodiles (including some massive examples) and water monitors to be seen; and with varied antelope, elephants, and predators to be spotted on land. Pairing especially well with Luangwa, a range of beautiful camps await one in Lower Zambezi – staffed by superbly knowledgeable and passionate guides.
