Overview

This mid sized game lodge, sat beautifully on the banks of the Zambezi, is open all year round and offers excellent access to the park for families, couples or singles alike. With welcoming staff and excellent guides, activities include game drives and walks, boating, canoeing, and tiger fishing - and both the game viewing and fishing first rate.

This is not a typical bush camp, but it is no hotel either; and whilst neither fish nor fowl, many repeat visitors say in some ways it captures the best of both worlds. For those who seek full-on ‘bush’, this might not be the best choice - but if you want a camp with great access, comfort and amenability without compromising on abundant game viewing, and just the plain indulgence of a really nice atmosphere run by very pleasant people, then Royal Zambezi is well worth considering.
