Hwange is, quite simply, one of Africa’s greatest national parks. Vast in size at over 14,600 km2, it hosts a variety of habitats ranging from arid sands bordering the Kalahari to mile upon mile of mopane woodland in the north of the park.
With over 100 mammals and 350 bird species, one could spend an entire safari in just this one park, moving between camps and areas all strikingly different from each other, but sharing the common qualities of superb game viewing, excellent guides, and a range of accommodation options ranging from very ‘bush’ to more indulgent. Unmissable and magnificent.
