This Mukambi Safaris camp rests in the north of the park. It’s not easily accessible –
and getting there and back can be something of an undertaking: but for a certain
type of safari-goes that can be part of the fun. And once you get there it can reward
you well for the journey.
Busanga Plains – confusingly sometimes called Mukambi
Plains Camp – is small, intimate, and bucolic with just 4 rooms and a very bush feel.
The rooms and bathrooms are simple but comfortable, and the small main area has
a bewitching quality about it. The remote area itself is very scenic and rich in game
and birdlife – both of which fluctuate with the changing seasons, making a discussion
on timing worth while.
