Fothergill

Overview

A sophisticated, family friendly camp – completely rebuilt on the site of the old camp on Fothergill Island. This is the only property featured by Mongoose which is fully fenced, allowing children to roam more freely within the camp. Facilities are contemporary, the rooms are extremely well appointed and comfortable, and the food excellent.

The camp is adjacent to its own private airstrip, making access easy. Fothergill offers a range of viewing activities – on land in Matusadona and on the lake. This is not a camp for those seeking a more ‘bush’ experience, but for those who want a more secure and / or family friendly environment, it is a beautiful camp in a gorgeous setting.
