Overview

The most rustic of our Matusadona properties, this small, intimate camp has always – and justifiably – prided itself on the personal touch. Attractively set on the lake shore, activities include boating, walking and drives, with excellent game viewing and birding.

With an authentic ‘bush’ feel, this camp is, nevertheless, very comfortable. The pleasant rooms and bathrooms and convivial main area have benefitted from a significant upgrade in 2026 – which has also extended to the kitchen and bar area. And it’s not just the camp which has changed. The past months have seen the reintroduction of both rhino and wild dogs to area and, whilst there can never be guarantees where these rare and elusive animals are concerned, this adds hugely to game spotting opportunities available.

If close proximity to nature and wildlife and an atmosphere which whispers “I’m in Africa now” is for you, then Rhino Safari is well worth considering.
