Tau Pan Camp

Overview

This beautifully located camp has a spectacular view across the Central Kalahari Game Reserve by day and of the stars by night. The rooms are comfortable, bathrooms of a high standard, and a sleep-out deck is offered on a by-request basis.

Game viewing is at its best during the rains (December to May) when a wide variety of predators, antelope and other mammals can be seen, and birding is superb – not least on an excursion drive to and through Deception Valley. Family-friendly, the camp is open to children over the age of 6.

Permanent camps in the CKGR are few and far between, and Tau Pan offers unparalleled access to this vast, remote wilderness.
