Overview
This safari will give a grass roots experience like no other. Your first nights will be in Hwange National Park with Inzila Safaris, in two locations – one in the North West of the park, one in the East. Run by experienced guide and Zimbabwe local, Adam Jones, the NW offers a choice of locations in Croton Camp – set on the banks of the Lukosi River, or Mopani Camp – set overlooking the beautiful Mandavu Dam.
After three nights the camp will transfer to the East of Hwange, and Acacia camp, picturesquely set amongst camelthorn trees and in an area with unrivalled game viewing.
Then it will be time to transfer to the South West of the park and Jozibanini Tented Camp – one of the most remote sites in Africa. In all cases and drives and guided walks will be offered, with an emphasis on getting as close to unspoiled nature as possible. The camps are simple, but comfortable. For experienced safari goes, people who love walks, or those who want to see Hwange in all its remarkable variety, our Arcadia Safari offers something quite literally unique.
