Set right on the lapping shores of Kariba, and managed by the same people as Hwange’s excellent The Hide, this gem of a camp offers something for everyone. Game drives, boating on the lake, Tiger fishing for those so inclined, and walks all come with the camp’s first rate guides. The rooms are spacious and very pleasant, and the main area is crowned by an enchanting bar.
Changa is fairly priced, and manages to combine an authentic safari feel with considerable comfort. Set, as it is, in Matusadona, this can make for a component with a real difference on a wider safari exploring two or three different parks.
