Overview
After arriving Maun and transferring by air to the private Linyanti concession, you would be treated to stay in the tented Linyanti Expeditions Camp. With sleeping options for ‘under canvas’ or ‘under the stars’, this beautifully located, rustic but comfortable camp offers a pristine game viewing experience in a part of the Okavango Delta well away from the madding crowds. Walks and drives are featured, and the guides are excellent.
After Okavango you would transfer to the banks of the Zambezi, just upstream of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the river and the delightful Tongabezi Lodge. Along with being able to view the Falls on the Zambian side, a day trip to the Zimbabwean side would also be available, as would water and land game viewing activities.
Finally, travel would be north to Chisa Busanga Lodge with its distinctive ‘nest’ rooms. Set in the tranquil Busanaga Plains, Chisa offers a range of game viewing options, and the birding in this area is outstanding.
